As a coffee lover, I found it to be some of the best I’ve tasted The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel comfortable. They’re genuinely friendly and open to chatting, making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Monte Café is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good coffee and warm company

I've been working on boul. St-Laurent in Montreal for years, and this is by far the friendliest coffee shop on the strip. Michaël, the owner and barista, is super welcoming, knowledgeable, and makes one of the best lattes around. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves great coffee, engaging conversation, and a pleasant atmosphere.

I popped into this cafe hoping to find a place to charge my phone, and was delighted by the kind and friendly service as well as the delicious coffee and gluten free banana bread. I rarely drink coffee nowadays, but I really enjoyed my cappuccino and felt like it was well balanced. Not too bitter but not diluted. Also really appreciated the presentation of my food and drink. Thank you for your kindness!

Fantastic coffee and very friendly staff. The flat white was as good as I would get in Australia. Loved hearing about where the coffee came from. Would highly recommend.

After what I will admit to my readers was a night of unchecked debauchery, I was not feeling so well. I stumbled about on the boulevard, turning the pavement upside down in search of medicine and answers. While I was not expecting to find solace at a coffee shop, it turned out to be the house specialty at Monte Café. Coffee, while an essential part of my daily routine since well before I was of the advisable age, has never soothed me until this cup. For the first time I felt that I was drinking something that came from the earth. And what beautiful earth! Not only that, but the warmth and grace with which my order was received and my cup given to me made something clear: that kindness is, in fact, enough (if it is not more).

A wonderful little surprise coming to this cafe. It truly warrants the 5-stars! The owner´s smile and approach really brightened my day and I had the best London Fog latte I’ve had in a long time. My partner really enjoyed his cappuccino. Will come back to this spot when I am in the area!

Adorable café in Little Italy. The owners are super knowledgeable about their products and their coffee is absolutely delicious! They offer plant-based milk by a local company and different flavors for your drinks. Honestly, it's an amazing place owned by good people with a very calm vibe and the most adorable doggy to welcome you when you get in. 12/10, definitely recommend

A real gem of little Italy. Vanessa and Michaël are the friendliest and most welcoming. The coffee is simply delicious. The space is adorable. Monte Café has my heart, seriously!!!
